The comp will release one song every day for the first 100 days Donald Trump is in office.  The comp will feature new music from Angel Olsen, The Mountain Goats, How to Dress Well and more.  It can be preordered for $30 on bandcamp.

The Best Albums of 2016: Honorable Mentions

As album-of-the-year season approaches, we’ve been reflecting on the music we’ve heard this year.  While a more formal list is coming, these items are all honorable mentions for a number of reasons.  While it may just be that we felt our list was better, for many of these albums it has to do with the fact, we just didn’t get to spend as much time as we would have liked with them.  These are still some of the best records of the year, in no particular order.

Run For Cover Records places entire discography up to pay-what-you want, proceeds going to Planned Parenthood

The Boston-based label has put up their entire discography on bandcamp so listeners can pay what they want.  RFC will also match donations up to $5000, and the proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood.  RFC has released music from Modern Baseball, Hostage Calm, Tigers Jaw, Koji, Crying, and more.  Donations can be made via bandcamp.

Artists Vow to Keep Shows Safe Following Trump’s Election
